Project Description

A multifaceted building developed by the McConnell Foundation in an effort to revitalize and energize downtown Redding. Construction consisted of a multi-use building being composed of a community bike rental/service shop, a community outdoor plaza and a two-story restaurant space. The building is composed of a slab on grade structure with wood framing. The exterior skin is composed of reclaimed lumber and brick from historical structures located on site previously. The build consists of detailed metal work, copper roof, metal siding, repurposed brick and storefront glass.
