Shawn Forrest is a Superintendent with Modern Building Company, bringing over two decades of experience in construction management. Prior to joining the Modern team, Shawn most recently served as a Safety / Quality Control Officer, where he was responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and quality across numerous diverse projects and operations. Shawn’s career began in 2009, where he initially started in building custom family estates in prestigious areas such as Woodside, Portola Valley and Atherton, CA, working further into multi-family construction, and later gaining extensive experience managing a wide range of projects. The foundation of his start in high-end residential construction well-equipped him with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

In his current role as a Superintendent, Shawn is known for his leadership on-site, his dedication to safety, and his ability to effectively manage complex construction processes. His wealth of experience and collaborative approach ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Outside of work, Shawn enjoys spending time on his ranch in the Sierra Foothills and backwoods camping with his dog where he can embrace the outdoor lifestyle that recharges and inspires him.
