Michael Newhard is a Superintendent at Modern Building Company. He brings 30+ years of construction experience with a proven history of exceptional craftsmanship.  Michael’s primary responsibilities include supervising commercial projects of many sizes. He is experienced at managing projects from start to finish encompassing all phases of a project, including project start-up, OAC meetings, inspections, final punch list and turnover. He is skilled in working directly with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to define and meet shared project goals.  Before joining the Modern team, Michael had the opportunity to work in a wide range of roles within the construction industry ranging from CAD operator converting plans into prefabricated walls, to working as a building inspector. He has gained invaluable insight into multiple facets within the construction field. Michael has extensive knowledge of how to navigate and understand details, along with how they apply to each project. 

When not at work, Michael enjoys being outdoors camping, fishing, kayaking, exploring, hanging out by his pool, and traveling around in his van.  You can also find him on the off-road trails of the Rubicon or Fordyce rock crawling.
