Matthew Moore is a Pre-construction Manager at Modern Building Company. He joined Modern in 2018. Matthew began his construction career in 2000 framing homes in San Diego and moved to Sacramento to complete his education in Construction Management. Graduating from California State University, Sacramento with a national title in the Mechanical division from the Associated Schools of Construction, he spent 10 years in the industrial, HVAC, mechanical piping and plumbing industry. Matthew acquired considerable experience in estimating, design/build and managing a wide array of projects (industrial, healthcare, education, commercial). At Modern, Matthew will support operations in business acquisition and development, data management, coordinating early phases of construction, etc.

Matthew was born in Germany, and now lives in Auburn, California, with his wife Erin and two children Kai and Aria. He is devoted to his family and work, but enjoys water sports, snowboarding, mountain biking, filling his passport with new stamps and the occasional poker game.
