Luke Holmes is a Project Manager at Modern Building Company. He grew up in Chico. As a child, he always enjoyed building things and even received his Eagle Scout badge, which included his Eagle project of building a shed at Marigold Elementary School. Luke grew up playing sports throughout high school. After graduating from Pleasant Valley, he attended CSU Chico for Civil Engineering and worked installing roofing while in college. Upon receiving his degree, he went to work for Kiewit for 8 years starting as a field engineer and working his way up to superintendent. His projects included elevated guideways in Hawaii and Seattle, a bridge in Seattle, a pier in Concord, and Sofi Stadium in Inglewood. Looking to be closer to family, Luke moved back to Chico, and began working with Modern Building Company.
Outside of work, Luke and his fiancé Danielle like to hike, camp, play with their dogs and work on their new home. He can also be found spending time with friends, family and his 9 nieces and nephews.
