John Thorpe is a project engineer at Modern Building Company. He will be graduating from California State University Chico with a degree in Construction Management and a Minor in Business Administration. John started as a field intern prior to graduation, and looks forward to continuing his growth with the Modern Team.
John made his start in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator in 2017, and was immediately hooked. He has spent the last three years diving deeper into the construction industry as a field and project engineer. John looks forward to continuing his endeavors with a goal to be a third-generation project manager in the Chico area.
When John is not working, he can be found outside hiking, fishing, hunting, or enjoying the lake in Lake Almanor.
