Amanda McMahon is the Human Resources Generalist at Modern Building Company, where she joined the team in 2026. Originally from Nevada, Amanda spent most of her life there before relocating with her family in 2023 to her husband’s hometown in California.

Amanda’s career path reflects determination and resilience – she worked full time while putting herself through college and raising her oldest daughter with her husband. She has been with her husband, Nathan, for over 19 years. Nathan is actively involved with the Durham Volunteer Fire Department, reflecting their family’s strong connection to the local community.

Together, they have two daughters who are ten years apart. Their oldest, Codee, is deeply involved in cheerleading at Durham High School, while their youngest is just beginning to explore sports and discover her interests.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys long motorcycle rides with her husband, relaxing with a good book, and since moving to California, raising chickens and enjoying fresh eggs. She brings both professionalism and genuine care to her role, grounded in family, hard work, and community involvement.
